PowerPOZ for automated cranes

The AKAPP conductor bar system with positioning is a dedicated solution for the reliable power supply and positioning of moving equipment in a wide range of industrial applications. Designed for applications where both energy transfer and positional control are required, the system delivers consistent performance while maintaining high standards of safety and durability.

A key feature of the system is it's combination of power supply and positioning functionality in a single compact rail, reducing installation complexity, offering maximum protection and ensuring precise system operation. The internal continuous copper conductors, running inside the protected housing, provide stable electrical contact, while the integrated positioning channels allow seamless position data for control systems.

For the PowerPOZ system all generic mounting components—such as brackets, supports and feed units—are identical to those used in the Multiconductor series. This ensures full compatibility, simplifies installation, and reduces the need for additional components or training.

The PowerPOZ system is equipped with a positioning sensor that provides a high-resolution SSI (Synchronous Serial Interface) 25 bit Gray code signal. This signal ensures accurate and reliable position feedback over the entire travel length, also in curved sections. The SSI output can be easily processed using a suitable PLC input card, allowing seamless integration into the machine control system. This enables precise positioning, synchronization, and control of moving equipment, making the PowerPOZ system ideal for automated and position-critical applications.
