Festoon for rail-bound machinery

The AKAPP Festoon system is a reliable and cost-effective solution for the transport and management of power, data, and media cables for moving equipment. Designed for a wide range of industrial applications, it supports uninterrupted energy and signal transmission for cranes, hoists, and other rail-bound machinery.

Using cable trolleys running inside a steel C-profile, the system guides cables and hoses smoothly along the travel path. This structured cable management prevents tangling, reduces mechanical stress, and supports consistent performance during continuous movement.

Suitable for both indoor and outdoor environments, the festoon system can be configured for different duty levels and applications, depending on installation requirements such as load, travel speed, and environmental conditions

Steel cable trolleys, for R150 series

AKAPP steel cable trolleys for the R150 track profile are designed for light-duty applications in both indoor and outdoor environments. All steel components are dichromatised, providing long-term corrosion protection. A rubber retaining strip keeps the cables securely in place, preventing damage to the cable jacket.

High-quality steel wheels with double ball bearings ensure smooth and stable movement within the profile. The wheels are equipped with anti-dust sealing and are lubricated for reliable operation across a wide temperature range.

  • Cable weight up to 10-20kg
  • Temperature range: -5⁰ to +105 ⁰C or -15 °C to +180 °C

Steel ball-bearing wheels ensure smooth movement through the track profile. The wheels are sealed against dust ingress and lubricated for reliable operation across a wide temperature range. A rubber retaining strip keeps the cables securely in place, preventing damage to the cable jacket.

AKAPP aluminium cable trolleys for the R300 track profile are suitable for medium-duty applications in both indoor and outdoor environments. Steel ball-bearing wheels ensure smooth and stable movement within the profile.

A rubber retaining strip keeps the cables securely in place, preventing damage to the cable jacket. The cable carriers feature a large bending radius to limit cable stress and provide sufficient space for larger cable packages.
