Reliable power supply is at the core of AKAPP LongLife performance. What makes this system fundamentally more dependable than traditional systems is the use of uninterrupted copper conductors in our conductor bar systems.
Conventional conductor bar systems are typically built from multiple interconnected sections, creating numerous conductor junctions. Over time, these junctions can become points of wear, corrosion and increased transition resistance.
In AKAPP LongLife systems, uninterrupted copper conductors run along the entire track length. This design eliminates mechanical joints throughout the system, removing common failure points and ensuring stable, reliable power transmission from end to end. As a result, maintenance requirements are reduced and system service life is extended.
AKAPP LongLife technology is integrated into selected conductor bar systems for industrial and intralogistics applications.
This reliability becomes even more apparent in challenging conditions. The difference matters in daily operation. Because the copper conductor in the AKAPP LongLife system remains continuous, it delivers stable performance even in environments with dust, humidity or fluctuating temperatures. Unlike jointed systems that can degrade at individual connection points, the uninterrupted conductor avoids such vulnerabilities altogether.
This ensures reliable power transmission in both indoor and outdoor applications, making the system well‑suited for facilities where environmental conditions are difficult to control.
Our products come equipped with a range of key features that are designed to make your life easier and your business more successful.
Continuous copper conductors for consistent power transfer across the entire track length.
No mechanical joints, eliminating typical weak points where resistance, corrosion or wear can develop.
Low brush wear, thanks to a smooth, uninterrupted contact surface that reduces friction and carbon deposits.
Quiet, consistent trolley movement, with no physical transitions or alignment gaps.
Reduced maintenance and component replacement costs, supported by a durable, low-wear conductor design.
