With great sadness we have to inform you that our director Eugène Burgers has passed away on Friday, June 15th, at the age of 62. With the dedication and optimism that we also know from his work, Eugène has fought against his illness, but he has not been able to win this fight.
Eugène joined AKAPP as sales manager in September 1994 and has led the company as managing director for the last 20 years. He has done so with great commitment and passion. He had a heart for the company and was involved with the employees.
Eugène has given direction to the company during his years at AKAPP and was the stable factor in all changes over time. We are very grateful to Eugène for his contribution to the growth and development of AKAPP. He will be missed.
Our thoughts and sympathies are with his wife, his daughters, sons-in-law, the grandchildren and further family. We wish them strength in this difficult time.
