Since the introduction of the AKAPP Click-Ductor range, the Click-Ductor travel speeds up to 80 m/min. could be reached. For standard cranes this was fine, however with the introduction of high capacity Click-Ductor up to 400 Amps, Click-Ductor moved into the domain of the engineered, automated and process cranes. As these cranes run with higher speeds, the need for a faster Click-Ductor system became obvious.
AKAPP developped a trolley with a longer version of the gliding shoe, with a high speed wheel integrated.
After extensive testing it secures proper guidance and the wheel now allows speeds up to 250 m/min!
These high speed ClickDuctor shoes are available for all C type 35Amp, 70 Amp and 100 Amp trolleys.
Type indication is i.e. CL7-7-100/GS. G for gliding shoe and S for speed.
