This important event is the international Trade Fair for Distribution, Materials Handling and Information Flow. Specifically warehouseautomation was an interesting part of this event. The new 4-pole conductor bar system Pro-Ductor and the vertical Mast conductor bar system meet the requirements of today’s technology, where conductor bar systems are mainly used for feeding purposes and alternative systems are chosen for control functions. This results in a more compact and relatively cheaper solution for the feeding of the cranes.

There was also an opportunity to win a tablet for the visitor who could estimate best how many kilometers the carbon brush of a displayed Pro-Ductor trolley had ‘driven’ . The correct answer was 46,086 km and the winner had it estimated at 47,000 km. A congratulation for Mr. Florian Arnold of a German company (left on the photo with Hans Georg Endres, AKAPP).
